First….let me say I’m no expert. Most of the fruit I’ve eaten throughout my life has been in various desserts. However, I have since changed my ways. Whole, fresh or frozen fruits have many benefits that support a healthy lifestyle. They contain vitamins and nutrients, aid in digestion, and may satisfy those sugar cravings.
In other words, fruits are good for you. However, you should pay attention to portions since they still contain sugar. Also, choose fruits with less sugar if your trying to lost weight. For example, berries tend to have less sugar than bananas. But I love bananas. So, I buy smaller ones or just eat half of larger ones.
